This system is manufactured by ITI Limited, India in collaboration with M/s Nortel, Canada.
This is a fixed WLL system with limited mobility.
The product is based on CDMA technology and conforms to CDMA 95A standards.

The major constituents of the system are :

• Base Station Controller(BSC) with built-in Mobile Switch Centre (MSC),
• Base Station Transceiver system(BTS) and Remote Stations (RSs).
• BSC has both R2MF and V5.2 interfaces towards Public Switch Telephone Network(PSTN).
• BTS can be engineered to function in three sector or six sector configurations depending upon the traffic requirements.
  

The RS supports Voice, Fax, Data and PCO.
The system operates in 800 MHz band and uses 8 Kbps EVRC coding thereby offering excellent speech quality.
